Java pain

I'm trying to set up an ADSL bridge and to do this I have to complete some details after loading a particular IP address. The trouble is that this address uses Java to load and it just states that "Applet unintented", whatever that means.
I've tested my pc through the Java website and everything's hunky-dory. It's only that specific address that's no good.
But I can't configure my new hardware without it.
Any ideas?
