Ive 3 install disks are they the same thing

1.. boot disk for scsi or ide
2...install driver for DOS SETUP WIN 95/98
3...Installation diskmsdos extensions with device drivers
do they all do the same thing or which do i use when formatting the HD. to reinstall win 98se

use the win 98 boot disk
start the machine with the disk in
it will go on to an A:\ prompt
type "format C: /s" (exactly with spaces but no quotation marks). press enter and you should get a warning about deleting all data etc. carry on.

You don't even need the Dos start up disk.

Start the pc in dos mode and just type FORMAT C: /S

That's it.
