Good evening,

Following a recent Windows XP SP3 reinstall I cannot get iTunes to run on the pc.

All goes well until it says that it is installing iTunes and Quick Time then suddenly flashes up to say it has successfully been loaded onto the pc.

However, this is not the case.

Has anyone else had the same problem or know what is wrong? All other programs install perfectly.

Your help is appreciated as always.

Thanks for your post.

However, I followed your link and downloaded the last version 7 and installed it without a problem. Once installed it said there were updates and then i selected these and installed. Following a reboot I now have the latest version of iTunes working fine.

The problem may be the latest version which is on File Hippo or a corrupt download.

Thanks again and all fine now.
