:) It would be nice on these forums if......

more "original posters" asking questions actually came back and updated their threads as to whether what, in some cases may be many replies and offers of assistance had actually worked.

Just as bad when a thread ends with "Sorted it"
So did the advice many on here offered work ? or was it something else ?

Not a whinge... just an observation.

A regular topic that often comes out. Whilst I totally agree with you, it is very frustrating when new posters ask a question, we answer it with several contributors and yet we never hear from them again - not even one reply from the originator.

I can hold my hand up and say that I don`t always mark a thread as resolved either. It slips from "My Postings" as I assist others and I forget about it.

By the way, have you finished your survey? click here ;o)

Agree, but you cannot change the way people are.
Seems they are not learned about manners now days

"By the way, have you finished your survey?"

Left myself open on that one, have to trawl all my old postings now :)

I ask ten times more questions than I answer as I am not very " clued up ", but I always reply and say thank you to the helper . I agree some people just expect an immediate reply and forget that this forum is voluntary but not all of us .

This thread is now locked and can not be replied to.
