What operating system?

Do you have the icon (twin monitors ) in the system tray when on line? If so right click select status and details client address is what you need.

There is no icon in the system tray. I am running xp. Is there a way to go throught the start menu, run and type in some sort of command. I done it before but i forgot how to do it.

The command is START > RUN > IPconfig /all but, unfortunately, I have forgotten the command that stops the information flashing on the screen, as this doesn't give you enough time to actually SEE it! Sorry.

Start - settings - network connections - click on your connection to get status box

Just remembered it!
Type in CMD first and then run the IPconfig /all command!

Nice one!
Better than my way of typing commands into RUN!
