Why can't I open an ISO file?

I've just downloaded some software, (332MB) it won't open, file extension is .ISO

I want to run it and install on my PC?

Any ideas

As far as I know (which ain't much) you need to burn the ISO file to a CD and run it from there.

Easiest way is as VoG says burn it.

But you can take a peek into ISO files with software such as UltraISO or WinRAR. I'm sure someone will suggest a free version...
