ISO file too big to burn

  geoff47 22:26 23 Aug 07

I have downloaded Mandriva-Linux and should now burn it as an ISO image, I believe.
Problem is CDBurnerXP Pro 3 says the file is too big to handle.
Any solutions ?

To big to handle or to big to burn? What size is the iso?

  geoff47 22:33 23 Aug 07

CDBurner says files over 4.2GB are not supported. The file I want to burn is 243KB.
And to be honest I dont understand the figures

What the heck. I think that it's CDBurner.

click here Free trial will let you burn images under 300MB.

There are 1000KB in a MB, so at 243KB you're fine.

You're sure you have the ISO and not one of the 244kb IDX files?

I remember there can be problems with two CD burners installed, do you know if that is right ?

click here i do believe Deepburner free will burn the iso image for you.

No problem with more than one burner

You are correct it is the IDX files.I am confused now.
Do I need to just burn the ISO files ?
If so why did I need to download the IDX files ?
