I have to format my H/Drive, HP the manufactures have sent me an e-mail with a ISO file. I have been advised to burn it as a bootable cd, how do I go about doing that I have Roxio 9

If you want to burn the ISO file, use Disc Copier.

I always manage to have a problem burning iso images through burning programmes and find it easier to use the free option click here

Look in Roxio for the option to burn images.

The bootable bit should be automatic if they've sent you an image to make a bootable CD.

Though personally I use Ashampoo 2009 (free version), which works fine for making CDs from isos.

Probably the easiest to use is IMGBURN click here (be careful not to download "Express Burn" from that link). Put blank CDR in the drive, open IMGBurn, choose "Write Image File to Disk", browse to the ISO file, click "Open", then click the "Write" icon...... job done.
