Ipod query - separating song and artist

I've ipodded a load of obscure songs from albums my parents own on vinyl (a few aural treats for campanologists!) - but am strugglign in itunes as all the songs are taken through as, "artist, song" in the song name.
It's not recognised that the first bit is the artist and the second bit (separated by a "-") is the song title.
Now I have a few hundred songs to edit - is there anyway to have this done automatically?
Or is there a separate program which can do this automatically?
Thanks

you may want to try the godfather click here

I have used it a few times and it is a good program although not that simple to use

You would have to export all the music out of itunes then re-name it all (it does this it one go) and then import it back into Itunes...I think Ipod Agent can do the latter
