iPod to PC

I edit music from radio etc on a Sony Minidisc recorder. Excellent results.
But if I want to save permanently to CD, I must use only AUDIO CDs in my CD recorder. These are several times more expensive than DATA CDs.
Could I use an iPod for the same purpose ? Can I transfer tracks from iPod to PC and thence to data CDs ?

google sharepod that will let you move music back to your pc from an ipod,if you use iTunes you can burn cd`s of your music. be aware though iTunes does tend to hog your pc when it`s running.
