ipconfig /all - window flashes then gone!

  dagbladet 22:36 02 Apr 07

I'm trying to sort out a networking issue. When I attempt to see what is connected using the "ipconfig /all" command in the run window, the small black window flahses up for a second then dissapears. Where's it gone?

Run it from a command box instead of the start box

I assume you're running windows XP
Click Start
type cmd.exe in the box (command.exe if win9x)
Click OK
Now in the black box type ipconfig /all
press enter
you should now see the information you need

Click the 'X' to close the box when you've finished.

Start, Run, type

and click OK.

Then enter your command.

Thank you both. Blimey I'm forgetting the basics now.
