iPAQ rz 1710 out of memory

  mentholdan 20:23 14 Dec 04

A friend has bought a Hewlit Packard iPAQ rz 1701 with tomtom satelite navigation software from Curry's.

He's running Windows Mobile 2003 2nd edition.
The processor is a Samsung S3C2410 and the memory is 27.26mb.

When he attempts to run the tomtom software the machine tells him 'memory is critically low'. As this was sold as a package that should work straight from the box does he have any rights, or is he doing something wrong, has he been misled by Curry's?

He asked me to point out that this is not bluetooth enabled.

I don't have a clue what this is all about but if you require further info I'm sure I can get it for you.

Hope someone can help my friend out. It's amazing, I mentioned the PC Advisor sight in the pub and how it has helped me and now I get friends asking if I can get help for them.

Ta, PC Advisor and you guys in the forums,
