Inventel wireless adapter drivers for Linux?

hi,

I have just installed Linux Edubuntu on my desktop computer, Now my internet provider is wanadoo and i use the wanadoo wireless and talk service. I am using the wireless option.

The adapter is detected by linux but i need some software, i have searched and searched for months and i still cannot get software that will work with linux, can anyone help me.

when i was on windows i needed to install some software called inventel wireless magic which told me the status of the connection.

So has anyone had the same problem and can anyone help me on this one
