Internet starting on boot-up

Hello all. Can someone advise me how to stop this page click here from stop clicking on to the net every time I start the Pc? I have looked every where to stop this, my home page hasn't changed in Internet Options, it's still freeserve. I have installed StartPage guard, but its getting past that, I have SpywhereBlaster installed, It's not showing on Sygate Firewall. Running Xp home, IE6. Any ideas?? Thanks

Anything under the startup tab of msconfig? Or in the startup folder.

Try Spybot or AdAware maybe...

Check what is in Add/Remove programs - when I went to that page, it sent me to another and then tried to download something or other.

We could try a manual removal...

First though try Hijack this! and spybot search and destroy.

Gaz 25, I have tried both of these. Nothing there. Thanks anyway.

Have a read of this page click here , look at the MANUAL REMOVAL section , you can check out the files and registry entries to see if you have them onboard .

cycoze, I have done a search for all the files on your link & downloaded the program, but have not found anything relating to this stupid site. Thankyou very much anyway.
