Internet Security Advice

For some years I have been using Zone Alarm firewall, and free AVG antivirus in the systems I build. However, due to the amount of spam I am receiving in my 'e' mails, (89 in one day) I am considering purchasing a full security system. Before I do however I would like some advice on the following points.
1. Has anyone used such an internet security system they would recommend;
2. Can I use the same software on more than one computer; e.g. will it install on computers I build for my family.
3. Does the software last for one year from date of purchase.
Many thanks for any advice given.

Try this click here if it is just spam that you are concerned about.

1. Never seen the point, but read the spec carefully, not all offer spam killers as part of the package.
2. You'll need to check the license, most licences are for one PC only, though some permit one additional installation on a laptop as long as they aren't operated simultaneously ( Don't ask me how they would enforce that one, I have no idea.)
3. Generally yes, though some packages will sell a two year license, again, read the small print.
