How can I recover the the full Internet options window in IE6 - I only have the Privacy panel left.
I have recently been told how to clear the address bar but would now like to recover the full window.

What is your operating system?

Firstly, delete temporary internet files.

If it doesn’t cure it, run regedit and navigate to registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions
Click NOBROWSEROPTIONS. If it is 1 set it to 0 (zero).

If the key isn’t present it is a different problem.

Thanks VoG. However, the site has a worm so would not install. Thanks anyway.

"Your antivirus software may report this script as potentially malicious, or a possible virus. This is because the script writes to the System Registry."

It is perfectly safe.

Burr Walnut - I have now managed to get into the registry address you quoted but it is already set to 0.

Also VoG's idea seemed just the lob but it makes no difference!

Any ideas anyone!! as I can't change the default screen on opening IE.
