Internet maps

Hi. I'm having trouble with map websites. Whether Google maps, Streetmap, Multimap etc they take an absolute eon to download onto my screen. Google earth just isnt worth waiting for. Everything else is fine, music, software downloads etc are quick. I'm running 1mb virgin broadband optic.

Thanks for any help.

I think your problem is the slow speed of your broadband - 1Mb is very slow for items like Google Earth etc.

I know 1mb is by no means quick, but it never used to be so slow.

Apologies, my broafband is 2mb.

You say everything else runs fine, otherwise I was going to suggest that perhaps an internal clean-up might help, possible over-heating. Or try cleaning up the software, like deleting excess junk and temp files etc. Maybe needing a defrag. Just a few suggestions.

I've done a speed check and its running at 2.14mb, and like I say, everything else is ok.
