Internet Gaming help needed!

Trying to use Gamespy Arcade. I am trying to use the above to play Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon. I can join others games, but am unable to host. Have tried all sorts, but to no avail!!

I am running Win XP Pro with the Firewall not activated. I have Norton Internet Security 2003 and have done all the settings as suggested by Gamespy but still I can't host.

When trying to host, I can launch the game(s) but nobody else has "joined".

Has anybody any ideas?????

Slow to appear on gamespy...

I use All seeing Eye that supports more games that gamespy, and is easier to use.

click here free for 30 days after that £20 for lifetime registration and update's... well worth it as you can also track people through it.

Hello Mate,

Norton will probably disallow the the ports that GS uses to be open. The easiest (but by no means best solution) will be to disable auto protect before starting GS. You should then have no problems hosting a game.
