Internet Explorer USE DEFAULT?/

On one of the screens at work when log on to the internet it should displsy the page we have set as use current.

for some reason we get this page cannot be displayed. And just http/// in the bar. no address.


Any Ideas anyone.

tools/internet options re type home page in address bar click apply ok should resolve

Hi iv'e tried by displaying the page again and then selecting use current.
Its accepts it, but when you log off and try again its gone.

Have you tried clearing the Temp Internet Files, cookies and history as this sometimes helps.

Yes, it works on three other screens, no problem.
Bit of a wierd one this. tied it with different sites, still no go

have you run a full suite of anti spyware and deleted everything in the address bar before putting in new home page?

Is the machine on a network, if so have you checked the LAN settings. Also any firewall settings that could be blocking it. Is there any other information given on the blank page that you are getting. If it is networked it could be a number of things.
