I am running Win XP SP1. using Freeserve Broadband. I keep getting error messages when in Internet explorer, and get closed down every time I try to use Int.Exp. very frustrating!. It seems to have had this problem since updating one of MS security updates.
The error data is App name iexplore.exe:- App ver 6.0.2800.1106 : Mod name mshtmled.dll or mshtml.dll I restored to a previous version of XP. and also disabled Zone alarm, but the problem still exists. I am sending this enquiry from my Win98se setup. Has anyone any ideas?

Have you tride DLing another browser to enable you to get the update via Oprea or Netscape.

As long as you have the Windows Update URL, I think you'll be able to DL with another browser.

It's

v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp

with http:// in front. Alternatively, you may be able to get it from click here which is

(get rid of the double spoace between www. and techspot) You may be able to DL the update to Floppy or CD from the 2nd link.
