Internet Explorer Hi-Jacked

My Son has had Internet Explorer hi-jacked by a porn site that always lands up as his home page. I have read an article in the PC Advisor about it, I have been through my back issues but I am unable to find the article. In the article, if I remember correctly, was the fix. Have any of "you forumers" any idea of the fix, or of the issue of PC Advisor where the article was included?

Try CWShredder click here. This is the most likely to sort this problem.

Also worth trying is AdAware from click here or Spybot SD from click here.

To avoid homepage hijacks try StartPage Guard click here

Thanks for the info'. I went to the CWS site and read the reviews on CWShredder. One bloke said that the site installed "coolwebsearch" on his computer. I did a search for "coolwebsearch" and discovered that the said programme was difficult to remove. What's your opinions on that? I would like to know, I wouldn't like to make things worse than my son has at the moment.

Coolwebsearch is the problem. Coolwebshredder by Merijn is the solution. You can install and run it without fear.
