Internet Explorer Fonts gone wrong

  daba 23:00 18 May 07

Windows 2000 : All fonts displayed in web-pages are too big, and I can't see how to get them back correct.

I've tried the View->Text Size options, nothing makes any difference.

I've checked the installed fonts in Control Panel are as they should be.

Any Ideas ??

Not familiar to win2k but have you tried the left ctrl key and the wheel on the mouse.

Yes i have.

And I also forgot to say that the View->Text Size options don't change anything at all.

I'd like to do an IE repair, but thats not an available option on W2K, so I might have to excavate the registry, as suggested on MS KB articles.

Thanks for the link VoG, i've bookmarked that FFR.

Anyway, it was my lad's PC that had the problem, and he now says he's "fixed it". When asked how, he can't remember what he did to cure the problem (Dohh!!)

I know it wasn't an IE repair that did it, nor was it the "Use High Contrast" options in Accessibility, nor was it anything i'd tried.

If I find out how I'll post it here - but i'll tick resolved for now.
