Internet explorer application error

  rts2 11:17 09 Aug 06

I have started to receive the following error message on my PC screen:-

"The instruction at OxOOEFCD11 referenced memory at OxOOEFCD11. The memory could not be "read." Click OK to terminate the program"

If the error message pops up during normal working then, if I click OK, the message disappears and the machine carries on as usual.

But the error message has also started to appear when I close down the computer - at which point the screen freeze and I have to switch off at the plug to get the computer to close down.

Can anyone please suggest how I sort this one out?

It is possible that you are having problems in the memory modules. Make sure that they are properly seated in the motherboard. Also check the tightness of all the connectors in the case.
