Internet Explorer 8 Advice.

A bit of advice please.
It seems by some of the posts about IE 8 you can just download it without having to remove IE 7.
Is that right ?
Also do your favourites remain that you had on
IE 7 and toolbars ?

Yes I just down loaded it on top and you see the little widow saying deleting old files. I find IE8 ok it is a little slow for a day or two then quickens up, I think it is learning.

been using ie 8 since day one of its release i downloaded it and just let it install 20 mins later and reboot im on ie8 all my favs there. and so far no probs i even find it quicker im running xp home. the only thing i find slow is when you open a new tab but it is only a fraction slower hope this helps
