Internet Explorer 7:1

I use the automatic update function of Windows
and find that I have downloaded the new update
for Internet Explorer. This is sitting on my desktop awaiting installation - I have been advised not to install this product because it
caused problems to the Computer. Being relatively
new to computing I do not want any problems at this stage - is there a way of removing the
download from the computer without installing.

Meant to say I have been dogged by this Bl***y download for the last week or so. You were advised correctly pat. I did download it originally but had nothing but trouble with it crashing variouse sites, including this one. Uninstalled it and am now back on IE 6 with no problems.

Thanks once again.
