internet explorer 7 and lotus notes

We use lotus notes domino at work for email which I can normall access remotely as it is a web based system. I said yes to an automatic upgrage to Internet Explorer 7 today on my home computer since when I cannot get into my work mail - though I am recognised by the server. When I ask to look at the inbox I get the message 'this service is not available' and am instructed to refresh the page - which of course does not resolve the problem. Is this a known problem? Neither microsoft nor lotus web sites mention anything.

Have a look at Proxy Connectivity click here 3/4 the way down the page and see if it looks like your problem.

From Lotus Notes web site click here it looks as if they did not make the service IE7 compliant as would have beenn expected during the IE7 beta phase.

To get back to IE6, simply uninstall IE7 from within Start>Control Panel>Add/Remove.
