Bought a new ASUS eeepc yesterday, the X101CH netbook, mainly for when on holiday and away. In IE10, I cannot see where 'Favorites' are stored, nor how to 'Save' to Favorites. It does not seem obvious to me, I think I must be missing something. Any advice much appreciated, thank you.

I also use the faves menu towards the top left of the screen in IE9.

In IE10, I think the only option is, to the top Right of the screen, there are 3 symbols: a house, a star & a cog. The Star is the Faves menu now.

Having said that, I thought I was running IE10,,,, but still have my faves in the same (old) place.

Am I really using 10 now ?

As Jock1e , right click anywhere at the blue bar (empty space) at the top. Tick command bar, now that bar is showing, select the '?' icon. Select 'about Internet Explorer'. You can select or unselect any bar here.
