Internet 'Content Advisor' problem

  jon_argent 02:07 09 Jul 04

Recently, my friend brought a second hand computer, with windows 95, for internet use only. However, whenever she tries to access the internet, it asks for the Content Advisor password, which is set for the previous owner. After contacting the previous owner, we now know that he has forgotten the password for it. I tried installing Windows 98se over the top of it, in the vain hope that it would solve the problem. However, it u>still /u> asks for the password.

Is there anyway that I could reset the password u>without /u> formatting the hard drive, as we have no driver disc for the hardware.
