Hi using XP and IE6. When I log on windows will not remember my password correctly,I have to type it each time! If i go through all the setup etc it seems to save twice as many digits as i put in very frustrating please HELP.Maybe something in registry but how and where? Are there any progs to fix this?

It is a security feature of XP. The extra stars in your password box are there to prevent others from *guessing* your password..i.e family or pet name etc. It will ask you each time to prevent others from accessing your data. Doing the job it ought to. This happens in Outlook Express too despite ticking every 'remember password' box.

Guess there may well be a way round it but I haven't bothered to look.
