1. Quit all programs that are running.

2. Click Start, and then click Run.

3. Type

regsvr32 urlmon.dll

and then click OK.

4. When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK.

If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of the following files (in step 3, replace Urlmon.dll with each of the file names below):

• Shdocvw.dll

• Msjava.dll

• Actxprxy.dll

• Oleaut32.dll

• Mshtml.dll

• Browseui.dll

• Shell32.dll (Windows XP and Windows 2000 only)

thanks for the wuick reply
regsvr32 urlmon.dll came up as successful, but did not solve the problem. When i tried the others it asked what program to open it with. I clicked find a web service to find out, but that did not give me an answer. Could you please tell me how to get around this
thanks VoG™

Sorry, maybe unclear:

Start, Run, type in

regsvr32 shdocvw.dll

and click OK.

Then repeat with each of the .dll files in turn.

i think i am still kisunderstood
when i type in the rest in the run box, it comes up with a box saying
u are attempting to open files with a dll extension
this can harm your system
if you still want to open choose a prgram for the list
