Internet Banking Logging in Problem

  recap 20:05 07 Mar 08

When I use my laptop I cannot log in to my bank. Go to my desktop and I can log in. The only diffence between the two is that I use the numerical keys on the desktop.

Anybody have any idea why this would be?

Hi Recap

Have you cleared your cache recently ?

Also what happens if the firewall is briefly disabled ?

Hi skidzy, cache is cleared daily, never thought about the firewall will check it.

Have you ever been able to log in to your bank from your lappy?

I may be wrong but I think that A&L, for example, will only allow you to log in from a PC that it recognises.

What about cookies

Check the firewall setting and all it OK.

Pine Man, this has just started to happen the last week or so after I changed my password to an encrypted one. I have even tried to us the onboard keyboards with no luck.

Thanks for the link skidzy, but I don't think it will be any of those solutions. See my reply to Pine Man for when this started.
