I have a Freeserve account in the UK. I am off to France with my laptop and need to get access to the web and email. Is it a case of changing the Freeserve access number so that 0044 appears in front of it or is there a local French number I can use?

Yes or open an account with Wanadoo Freeserve's parent. There French

If your Freeserve number is freephone (0808 or similar) you can't access it from outside the UK.

Come to think of it the lo-call number won't work either. Sorry.

Another thought - if you're only going for a short time I wonder if they have those "Try it free for a month" that we have here?
