At present my sons PC connects to the web via a wireless network using an external USB adapter with no problem, are there any advantages/disadvantages in installing an internal NIC or is better to leave things as they are?
Thanks in advance RG

For a time I believed that internal NICs had a greater range than USB adapters but in reading comments on this forum I have been convinced otherwise. So now the only advantage that NICs have is that they don't occupy a USB port that might be needed for another peripheral device.

Thanks for the replies, think I'll leave things as they are.
