Intel Pro/Wireless 2011

Hi all,

I'm trying to get thie work on a laptop at work with little success.

Laptop is 1.2GHz Celeron 256Mb 20Gb HD running windows XPpro.

I can get the laptop to connect to the access by manually setting the ESSID to 101 to match the access point. This then works for about 30 seconds before the connection drops. If I check the ESSID settings again it has changes to a string of corrupted symbols. There are 4 lines of the symbols and one line with "101" in the drop down box.

I am using the latest driver and software and the firmware is up to date.

Any idea what is going on?

Never mind, I gave up.

Who wants wireless anyway!

All Hail Cat5.
