Doing a new install of XP Pro SP2.
Have 2 IDE drives and 2 SATA drives.
Program acknowledges and installs the 2 IDE but does not show the SATA even though I loaded the SATA drivers when requested.
Any suggestions as to what am I doing wrong?

load your OS ( XP ) on one drive and then insert to others- also check BIOS ( press delete or F2 when PC starts )
Check in BIOS the settings between the IDE and SATA- iam sure that you SATA drives are on secondary use, picking up the IDE as your main communication slot
Check jumpers on the IDE drives, ( SATA is automatic ) and check that main drive is on master and the other IDE on slave. Doing this will indicate to the Sata drives that they should be drive 3&4- also when you open the pc, check if both SATA drives are inserted in the no 3&4 slot- otherwise it may cause inflicktion between the main drives.
Cheers

IDE are master and slave and the SATA drives show up in the correct position in the BIOS.
