as a matter of interest ,going back a bit .when I had windows 98 ,I would partition the hard drive into two ,then I would copy my windows disk on to the first partition (just the disk )then I would tell it (one )to copy the disk system to the second partition ,it was a quick way of setting your system up ,and you could leave your copy of windows in the drawer ,of course you had to pop the drivers on etc ,,and you could format the second and replace quickly ,, what I was getting at was .has anyone tried that with xp ,( I have never tried it ),today one could make a full system back up with a ghost partition software ,
