I have not got the fogiest idea of how to go about installing the SpeedTouch USB ADSL modem under Linux. :-(

I'm very new to it, just figured out how to get the sound on :-)

But i need my internet.

How do i go about installing this modem under linux?

I have downloaded the Linux drivers and burned them to CD and Linux does see the files but if i click nothing happens.

Anyone care to give simple instruction?

I have had a look on google but it does not make the slightest difference, i cannot understand it.

powerless, i sympathise with you dude, getting my modem to work under red hat was the bane of my existence for the longest of times.

I have some notes somewhere, let me see if i can find them. i'll post back and let you know.

I'll print them off and have a go...

Is this the only way to do it?
