Installing Drivers

  dublincity 14:46 09 Feb 09

I have d/l’ed some drivers via Driver Detective and successfully installed those with a Wizard - most of them.

The Ethernet Controller Driver – the most vital for me – is in a File Folder containing 3 small components. Clicking on them does nothing. The help-room has referred me to:

but I can’t follow this. Can anybody tell me how to instal the driver, please?

Many Thanks, Mike.

Open control panel, browse to device manager.

Your tree list will contain the missing device with a little yellow exclamation mark next to it.

Right click on the device

Choose "Update Driver"

Point the wizard at the new folder you have downloaded.
