Installing driver from zip file.

  Pidder 23:17 06 Dec 04

I have downloaded a driver for the sound on my M599LMR motherboard. It is a Zip Central file. I can open it with Zip Central but when I try to install it I get the message "there is no install program in this archive". Can someone tell me what I should do? Thanks.

Extract the zipfile to a TEMP directory (create it if you need to)and load driver from the Temp directory. Clean the directory up afterwards

Yes, if you have unzipped the file and you know where the files are just right click My Computer click Properties\Hardware\Device Manager now go to your sound down near the bottom and double click to expand Double Click on the one you want to update drivers there is a update drivers button you have to navigate to the files from there, for the drivers
