Installing from a CD

I have bought software for Wave Editing and downloaded a zip file. Then I extracted the zip file to a temp directory and by opening the .exe file I installed it on my computer.

Six months down the line I have to uninstall it and reinstall again. This is no problem but I thought that I should really have the installation disk for it.

I could burn the zip file to the CD but I would really like to be able to put the CD in and let it auto install. Could I burn the extracted files from the temp directory and open the .exe file from there or ideally use an auto run option in NERO if there is one.
