INstalling Adobe CS2 breaks network

Hi (this is a weird one),

Upgraded to CS2, everything fine and dandy and activated with one caveat - my little LAN steadfastly refuses to work with it installed, and works fine again when uninstalled.

Adobe Tech from their script say this is my problem (yes, very probably) but I just have no idea why any installed software such as CS2 would completely remove the PC connected to the LAN

Tech specs: Two WinXP PCs connected via ethernet TCP/IP. Using internet connection sharing if that matters.

Any ideas?
