Installation of WinXP

When previously trying to reinstall windows from the original CD I receive the following message:-

To overcome this problem I had to take the pc and disc to the local pc shop for installation. Can anyone help as I do not want to pay each time to have my os re-installed. Many thanks

maybe make a copy and install from there

Original disc and its copy gave the same error during install. PC shop used it in the past and used a "patch" disc to continue. Do not know where he got the patch from.
