installation probs

I`ve been attempting to install Win 2000, repeatedly getting errors saying "the file ***** could not be copied" or "the file ***** is corrupt", so gave up and thought I would install XP instead.......same things happening, this I might add with discs that have installed with no probs before, so I swapped out the Cd-ROM incase it was iffy, still no joy...any thoughts?

What you are experiencing, may be CPU overheating

PS you could try loading it with the side off your tower and a table fan blowing air into comp. If it works you will then know what to look for
