First of let me apologise to you clever people for what may be a stupid question but I know no better. I have a 4 year old packard bell 400mghz computer running win98. My friend has a 4 year old 400mghz Time computer that is giving no end of problems. When she bought it second hand thier were no disks to restore it back to factory settings. My computer is a pentium 2 and the time one is some other proccessor.....would it be possible to use MY restore disks to reinstall her computer....if so, is it straight forward or would I need to set her bios the same as mine..I kinda dread that, as I say, I'm not the cleverest when it comes to computers..sorry......thankyou for your time....Andrew.
