instaling win xp on a sata drive without a floppy

please could you tell me how to instale win xp on a sata hard drive on a pc without a floppy disc drive . after start instaling win xp you have to press f6 then put in floppy for sata drivers i have no floppy disc drive could you tell me what to do thank you walt burgoyne requards

Hi, I consider it is always handy to have a Floppy Drive. I would advise that you get yourself a USB Floppy drive, they are not expensive, only a few quid. I have one on my pc.

If your mtherboard sata drivers are "built in" you will not need the F6 option.

Boot from the CD ignore the F6 prompt, if XP finds the drive ten install as normal.

If XP reports no drive then you will need a floppy a per Technotiger's post.
