In Works 2000, if you wanted to insert today's date into a spreadhseet or database, you just went Ctrl + ; and there it was. This useful facility does not seem to have been retained in the latest incarnation of the programme - or is there a new way of doing it? The Help function doesn't seem to cover this.

I've bumped this one up to the top again as I haven't had an answer. The facility does seem to work in databases copied from my old machine but not in spreadsheets. If Microsoft have abandoned this usful feature, then they want their bottoms smacked.
