When I start up my PC I'm oferred a choice of two OS loads.
1/ XP
2/ Unrecognised OS.
How do I delete 2/ so that it boots straight into Windows XP

Click Start> Run and in the box type "msconfig"- without the quotes.

Select the BOOT.INI tab and look for "Timeout:" and set it to zero.

Click Apply, then click Okay.

Sorry, do this:

Right click My Computer, select Properties and then select the Advanced tab.

Under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.

Remove the tick from "Time to display list of operating systems."

Thanks, MSconfig reduces the startup time to a min of 3secs hold on the screen but I was hoping to remove the unidentified OS from the C drive.
