infected files

i would just like some advice on what to do with some infected files detected by AVG anti-virus.is it best to keep them in quarantine or delete them.

Hi, quarantine, then delete at a later date - maybe a couple of weeks later.

Once the variant has been quarrantined,and you have rebooted and the system runs ok.its safe to delete the quarrantined files.

Before you delete these,can you post the files in question ?

Have you ran AVG since quarrantining these files,i suggest you do to make sure they do not reappear.
