Index for contents of cd-rw disks.

Having just started to use cds for storage of data, can anyone suggest a method of compiling an index of what is on individual discs without actually labelling the disks. Is there a builtin prog in XP Home to do this sort of thing. Any suggestions welcome.Meshuga.

theres a freeware program out there somewhere called DIRPRINT , or similar - - - -this does exactly what you want, prints out contents of directory/sub directories. If you ain't founf it by the this evening, I will give you a link to it - - -its on my home pc right now.

Only just gone XP myself so don't know if there is a function within this OS to do it.
