Incorrect Time keeping !!!!!

I am running Win98se and i have noticed the clock in the bottom right hand side keeps changing to the incorrect time,Any ideas,
Cmos battery ???? motherboard ????

Depending on how old the CMOS battery is, it is the most likely cause.

XP uses the time.windows.com link to update the system clock manually or automatically; why not try it from your browser?
